Hello, hungry people.
I keep reminding myself that when I shoot video on my iPhone I need to do it in landscape mode not portrait so it turns out better than what you’re seeing above.
Apologies.
But I wanted to share this because whenever I need a little boost—more and more frequently these days—I flip through my photos to get a lift from what I find there.
I came across this couple when my wife and I visited Barcelona last year. They were walking ahead of us in the Gothic Quarter and seemed so happy and content and lost in their own little world that, well, it lifted me up.
Maybe it’s weird, but I go back to this shot often. Which brings up the question:

Later that same day, we visited the Picasso Museum where many of the artist’s early works are on display. Having witnessed the happy couple walking arm in arm above, this sketch seemed particularly appropriate to the occasion. Picasso drew it when he was 18.
That’s all I’ve got. Just a little happy something.
So … maybe go for a stroll today with someone you love. Give ‘em a kiss. Lift yourselves up.
Absolutely!!! Get it while you can!
