How about The Factoids - although that could easily / on purpose- be misspelled by opposing parties.
The Factoids would govern and pass laws based on facts, which could possibly include Science!

How about Lectoids? Those were the aliens from Buckaroo Banzai - Black Lectoids were friendly and Red Lectoids were hostile. You could have both . . .
